Google AdSense is the way forward for webmasters! Webmasters
all over the world are earning an income, and in some cases a
HUGE income from AdSense.
Let me get down to explaining how AdSense works and the basics
of what you should know before starting out. Google AdSense in a
nutshell is being payed to have adverts on your website.
However, you are only paid when the adverts is clicked. So who
pays me? Well Google is advertising through your website on
behalf of other businesses who in return get new customers.
Google receives money from these businesses, takes a percentage
out for themselves and gives the rest to you.
How much will i be paid per click? Well, this varies depending
on the advert clicked. Adverts on webpages are automatically
made to relate to the webpages content and if the contents
'keyword' is valuable then you will be paid more per click.
How do i know if AdSense is right for me? Well, only you can
judge this really, but take into considoration these things: How
many visitors your website gets daily? What type of adverts will
be shown on your page? (Relating to expensive or cheap keywords
from your content) Will enough people stop, look and click on
the adverts on your type of webpage? How much money are you
planning on making? (Allot of people only want enough to pay off
their hosting bills, some people are living a life of luxury
because they are making so much money from AdSense)
Can anyone apply to AdSense? Google has some terms and
conditions such as no pronographic websites, no weapon websites,
no drug websites and no gambling websites. Google will also
review your website before you are an AdSense member. If you are
rejected then look at what they have criticized about your site
and try to fix it.

Make Money with Google Adsense
Now blogging has become so popular that tens of thousands of people are using it to generate decent money by creating quality blogs(posts) and blending Adsense Ads in the content.
If you have small or no money to host a personal website, blogging is a good way to start. You can create good blogs through http://blogger.com and put your Adsense Ads in these blogs. It is free and most of all Google has added some features (Inline Ads) so that you can benefit from them.
When creating blogs make sure you write posts on your own containing relevant keywords so that your Ads can be targeted well.
You can select different look n feel or (themes) for your blog and customize it for putting Ads.
Inline Ads
Google has come up with a nice extension for bloggers to put inline ads in the posts. A maximum of three Ads are allowed to be inserted between the posts. These inline Ads can be configured easily through the Template Editor, including the size and colors of the Ads.
Picking correct format of Adsense Ads for your web pages can make a big difference in your earnings. Placement and blending with the content of web pages is the important factor in getting users response. Some popular Ad formats are 160x600. It is one of the most popular Ad format. Other popular formats are 125x125, 468x60, 336x280, 234x60.
The web page layout is important in placing Ads correctly on the page. Putting Adsense Ads between the content and blending them evenly with the content gives best results.
Placing Square Ads between the articles or at the end of articles is the best position to get more click-through Rate (CTR). To get the best results you can try different placement combinations and analyze the CTR. You can check each combination for one week and later on keep the best placement combination.
You can apply some techniques and can significantly increase your Adsense payouts.
PSA's and Alternate Ads
Use Alternate URL Ads instead of PSA’s (Public Service Ads) while creating your Ads. It will increase your earning opportunity in case Ads are not available on server. Publishers often don’t consider this option and loose their important revenue generating opportunities.
Completely blend your Ads between the content of web page, it will significantly increase your CTR (Click-thru-Rate). Your Ads should appear as the content itself and then you can see the difference.
It is generally observed that the Ads placed at the bottom of the page have very low CTR. It is advisable to populate your Ads around or in between your main content because the visitor is going to read your main content.
Create custom palettes for specific web pages and position on web page and associate them with appropriate channels. This will help you in analyzing your Ads performance data and accordingly you can optimize and tweak your Ads placement and positioning.
Create new and quality content for your web site regularly to keep the visitors coming back. If your content is stagnant the visitors will not return back because each visitor come back in hope to find some new useful information from your site.
Adsense serves targeted ads on your web site that is relevant to the content of the web pages.
Normally if the relevant Ads are not available Adsense displays PSA (Public Service Ads) in place of the regular targeted Ads.
There are 3 options available in case the relevant Adsense Ads are not available.
* PSA's : These ads don't generate any revenue for you and are in public service. For example flood relief or Vaccination program's ads.
* Alternate Ads : If you are opting for PSA then you are loosing your revenue. You can specify any alternate ad URL in this option so in case the Adsense for Content Ads are not available, the ads from the URL mentioned by you will show up automatically.
* Fill space with Solid Color : This option asks for the hexadecimal code of the color that can be used to fill the blank space in case the ad is not available. Generally people choose the same color as the background color of the web page.
It is advised to use the 2nd option, as it doesn't stop your revenue generating opportunity.

A how-to guide should be full of great recommendations that aren't intricate. Even a topic with many facets can be illustrated clearly with simple explanations. You may have to spend time on the writing, but most things can be re-written to be clear and simple. With the internet, you can use previously written articles and blog entries.
Persist in actively building traffic to your website. Even though you realize that high traffic won't come immediately, it doesn't pay for you to relax and not worry about it. What you do need to do is participate in forums, blogs, and chat rooms where you can spread webpage links to your site and demonstrate your expertise. The secret to Adwords Sucess
It seems at the moment that everybody is telling you that the easiest and quickest way to make money online is with Google Adwords and affiliate programs.
It sounds so easy. You join a programme, get a link, choose a couple of keywords, put up an ad and the money flows. Many have tried and many have failed.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s possible to make money this way and to be very successful. There are many people making $100’s per day from their Adwords campaigns. But those that are successful don’t follow the herd, they think for themselves.
As with all things in life the greater success is found on the ‘road less travelled’ which means if you do what everybody else is doing you will get the results that everybody else is getting. And the fact is that everybody else, or at least the majority, are trying maybe making a little money, getting disheartened and moving on to something else.
We need to be different.
So what does our average money maker do? First he goes to Click Bank and visits the ‘Money & Employment’ category and he selects one of the top 10 products. That is not bad strategy but maybe we should be a little different if we must sell in the making money online space then why don't we find excellent products that aren't available on Click Bank.
A little but a bit of work at Google will uncover a number of directories where we can find products to promote. Or better still why not find out who the top names are in the making money online space and search out their affiliate programs. Yanik Silver, Marlon Sanders & John Reese all operate their own affiliate programs & these guys also have excellent materials that will help you to sell their products.
But even better still we could target a totally different market. There are millions of people spending millions of dollars on things other than how to get rich products. Checkout these links to see what people are searching on this month.
http://www.google.com/press/zeitgeist.html
http://50.lycos.com/
http://buzz.yahoo.com/overall/
Once our Money Maker (MM) has selected the same product to promote as everybody else he then chooses the same keywords as everybody else to bid on at Google. He will type those words into the Keyword tool at Overture or into Adwords Analyzer. Then he will have a big list of the same keywords as everybody else promoting that product.
Do you think there might be a little competition for these keywords? You think those words might be expensive to bid on? You betcha.
What we need to do is think a little differently whatever market we choose there will be competition and if there is no competition it probably means that nobody is spending in this market. We need to think ‘outside of the box’. We need to get inside the minds of the typical buyer of a product. We need to think what related problems they may be having what other things they will be searching for and we need to create our own keyword list.
Finally MM writes one ad, that will show for all his keywords. His ad describes the features of the product. We on the other hand will write an ad highlighting the benefits of the product. All those eyeballs will be attracted to our ‘sizzle, not the sausage’. We will include a call to action.
We will have multiple ad groups separated out into themes, our ads will be relevant to the keywords in the group and we will have two ads for each group so we can see what works and what doesn’t. We will test, test & test some more.
Our success will be found on the road less travelled.
There is still plenty of room in the Adwords pool as long as we are prepared to think for ourselves and not expect a free ride.

5 Ways Google Will Help You With Your Traffic
If you've ever had a severe drop in your Google rankings in search results, you may think of Google more of an enemy than an ally.
But if you knew what I do, you'd realize that there are tools provided by the search engine that help you learn more about your traffic, and may even help drive visitors to your site.
Here are five ways that Google provides free traffic assistance.
#1 - Google will Help Your Pages Get Discovered with Google Sitemaps
https://www.google.com/webmasters/sitemaps/login
Google Sitemaps is a program that gives you the opportunity to present your site's pages to Google in XML or text. Google will then come by and spider the pages, getting you indexed faster.
Take note that this doesn't necessarily mean that your pages will be listed for your favorite keywords, only that discovery will take place a lot faster than with manual submission. Google Sitemaps will also give you some basic site stats if you verify your site, such as the top keywords for discovery, errors it found when crawling, and the types of documents at your site.
If you find compiling your sitemap for Google in the correct format difficult, try the SOFTplus GSiteCrawler Google Sitemap generator. It's my favorite Sitemap generator, free and easy to use.
#2 - Google Will Talk To You and Your Webmaster In His or Her Native Tongue or Plain English with the Webmaster Section
http://www.google.com/webmasters/
The Google Information Page for Webmasters should be your first stop when you want to know more about anything that has to do with your site and its relationship to Google and any of its many flavors of search such as Froogle. Particularly for new site owners or operators, checking this page first has saved many from needless anxiety.
Most of the basic information is in straightforward language, with links to details for geeks like me.
#3 - Google will Tell You What It Knows with Web Page Information
If you type info:yoursite.com into Google, Google will tell show you a page that has your link at the top of the page, with a short description, and the following phrase "Google can show you the following information for this URL".
This special page compiles several queries about your site including pages that contain your URL (all the pages Google knows of that are linked to you).
#4 - Google will Help You Analyze Your Traffic with Google Analytics
http://www.google.com/analytics/
After a recent purchase of Urchin Stats, a free online version has been made available, and re-branded as Google Analytics. This cookie-based invisible visitor tracker can give you information that go a bit beyond standard stats such as bounce rates, visitor loyalty, keyword discovery results for a single day, click paths through your site, and page views per visit.
With the ability to analyze your traffic, you can help learn where the holes in your site are, and how to keep them on your site for longer periods of time, as well as better ways to steer a visit towards a specific action, such as a subscription. Results come in flavors for the executive and the search marketer alike.
There's currently a waiting list to use Google Analytics due to popular demand.
#5 - Google Will Advise On Getting the Most from Your Traffic with Conversion University
http://www.google.com/analytics/conversionuniversity.html
Google Analytics also has two content sections that are available to all, called Conversion University. While the articles are decidedly slanted towards AdWords users, a prudent read yields many clues that can be applied to preparing for visitors who arrive through organic search discovery. One reference area is called "Driving Traffic", the other "Converting Visitors."
At the end of the day, the process by which your site gets ranked in Google search engine results is a computation of a complex algorithm, which means Google - the search engine - really isn't capable of being your best friend or your worst enemy.
Meanwhile, Google - the company - also provides access to resources that will help give your site a fighting chance.

7 Powerful ways to make money from Google adsense using only Free tools
There is really no doubting that there are amazing incomes currently being made on Google Adsense and the really interesting thing is that even relatively small sites and blogs are finding new ways to make money from their Adsense sites every day.
Actually there are a lot of increasingly creative ways to make money and maximize on Adsense earnings that are being discovered and also being put to use every day. And what’s even more fascinating is the fact that most of these tools being used don’t cost anything. They are actually free. Here are 7 of the most effective currently being used.
a) Ways to make money from Adsense by Distributing articles through ezine and article announcement lists
Some of the most effective methods ways to make money from Adsense clicks involve the simple step of just increasing the volume of targeted traffic to a site. One of the ways of doing this is by distributing interesting content to ezine lists and article announcement lists. It is not too difficult to quickly build a list that reaches a million or so email boxes and can thus give a lot of visibility and drive tons of highly targetd traffic to your Adsense site or sites. Probably the most popular place for doing this is at Yahoo groups, but there are a few others that you can find easily by using your favorite search engine.
Success here depends on three main factors. Firstly you should be careful to join article announcement lists and ezine lists that are as relevant as possible to your subject matter and offering. Secondly your headline has to be a killer headline that will grab readers by the scruffs of their necks and force them to open your email message amongst the dozens or even hundreds of others they receive daily. It goes without saying that the content must meet the promise of your sensational headline. Anything less will cause annoyance and leave all those potential visitors to your Adsense site feeling cheated. And believe me, you don’t want to cause this sort of reaction because it is definitely not one of the ways o make money from Adsense or any other program for that matter. Thirdly, you will need the sort of resource box in all your articles that will leave most of your readers with no option but to visit your Adsense site.
Within a very short of consistently applying this technique, my daily Adsense earnings increased seven-fold.
b) Ways to make money from Adsense by Distributing free articles to high traffic article sites
Some people find the recent trends that have seen an increase in article sites surprising. I don’t. The net is primarily an information-seeking tool. Anything that will help improve the search and quality of information will greatly benefit the people making that effort.
Some of the older article directories receive very high traffic, mainly from web masters and site owners seeking quality free content for their sites. So apart from the immediate exposure these sites also guarantee plenty of future targeted traffic to your site, when folks find your articles useful enough to re-post at their sites.
The more new articles you release to these sites every week, the more targeted traffic your Adsense sites will receive. This is in fact one of the most effective ways of making money consistently from Adsense clicks. One of the reasons for this is that targeted traffic will tend to spend more time at your site or sites, and the more time they spend, the higher the chances that they will click one one of the Adsense ads posted there.
c) Ways to make money from Adsense by Using Articles And A Viral Marketing Website
Any online marketing technique that involves the use of referral marketing or viral marketing automatically has a huge chance of being a success. The net is ideal for viral marketing and in fact gives any viral marketer huge leverage. Viral marketing or referral marketing is one of the most effective ways to make money online. Just ask Bill Gates.
When Gates was trying to play catch up on the Internet after an earlier mistake of underestimating the future importance of the net, he launched his Hotmail free email service when rivals like Yahoo already had millions of users. He decided to use a simple referral marketing technique. Every Hotmail message that went out had a brief signature at the end requesting the recipient to sign up for their free Hotmail account. Within a few short months, Hotmail had millions of users. And there are many other amazing stories which viral marketing boasts of on the net.
There is one of the very simple ways to make money from Adsense by going viral. Sign up at a leading viral marketing site. You will automatically get your own viral site. You can then use some of your articles to point people to your viral site. The way these sites work is that anybody who signs up at your site will have to visit your Adsense site if you register it at the site. So within a very short time you will be driving thousands of visitors to your Adsense site.
Find more details on this at my blog whose address you'll find in the resource box below.
Admittedly this traffic is less targeted. Still the huge potential and possible numbers you are able to receive using this free tool more than makes up for this.
d) Ways to make money from Adsense With Your Email signature
People greatly underestimate the power and potential effectiveness of a simple email signature as one of the ways to make money online. Actually this is a viral marketing method because emails get forwarded all the time and are even copied to several other people sometimes.
Do not waste another minute. Go to all your email accounts right now and create a signature that points to your Adsense site or sites.
Writing effective email signatures is a skill that you will have to develop, but I have found that using famous quotes is more effective than a straight advertising message. Always remember that people hate to be advertised to online.
e) Ways to make money from Adsense By Asking Questions At Discussion groups
I recently had an interesting conversation with a young Internet and computer techie. He asked me whether there were quick ways to make money online by answering technical questions and helping people to solve their computer and web-related problems. My answer was that there were many discussion groups where participants would get these answers for free. Barter trade seems to have been forgotten but it is a very powerful method of trading. More so online where people have plenty of skills but are slow to trust others enough to send them money for an item they need.

How to make money with Adsense?
Google's Adsense program has been used by various entrepreneurs worldwide to earn huge sums of money every month.
Google has created the Adsense program as a means of serving adverts placed by people using their AdWords online advertising service.
Google runs a Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising service via the Adwords program. Advertisers using Adwords can bid on how much they are willing to pay for each click on their advert.
These Adverts are show on Google search listings. The first two results from a google search will show up high lighted as sponsored links. These are PPC listings served via the Adwords program.
The right hand side on a google search listing also displays sponsored links from the Adwords program.
These PPC listings are also displayed on a network of other search engines that syndicate google search content. They are also displayed on various webpages that have Adsense code placed in them.
Once you have been accepted as an Adsense publisher, you can start earning money by placing adsense code on your websites or blogs. Google will display relevant adverts on your webpage based on the content of your webpage (contextual). Each time a visitor to your webpage/blog clicks any of the adverts, you will receive a percentage of the PPC value assigned by the advertiser on Adwords.
This may sound a little confusing to begin with. All you have to do is:
1. Get accepted as an Adsense publisher
2. Place Adsense code on your web content
The adverts will be served automatically and your earnings calculated. Google takes care of the adverts and the payments.
You don't even need a website to get started with Adsense. You can set up a free blog on blogger.com and start earning money using Adsense

How the google Adsense works?
AdSense is an ad serving program run by Google. Website owners can enroll in this program to enable text, image and, more recently, video advertisements on their sites. These ads are administered by Google and generate revenue on either a per-click or per-thousand-impressions basis. Google is also currently beta-testing a cost-per-action based service.
Google utilizes its search technology to serve ads based on website content, the user's geographical location, and other factors. Those wanting to advertise with Google's targeted ad system may sign up through AdWords. AdSense has become a popular method of placing advertising on a website because the ads are less intrusive than most banners, and the content of the ads is often relevant to the website.
Currently, the AdSense uses JavaScript code to incorporate the advertisements into a participating site. If it is included on a site which has not yet been crawled by the Mediabot, it will temporarily display advertisements for charitable causes known as public service announcements (PSAs). (Note that the Mediabot is a separate crawler from the Googlebot that maintains Google's search index.)
Many sites use AdSense to monetize their content and some webmasters work hard to maximize their own AdSense income. They do this in three ways:
1. They use a wide range of traffic generating techniques including but not limited to online advertising.
2. They build valuable content on their sites which attracts AdSense ads which pay out the most when they get clicked.
3. They use copy on their websites that encourage clicks on ads. Note that Google prohibits people from using phrases like "Click on my AdSense ads" to increase click rates. Phrases accepted are "Sponsored Links" and "Advertisements".
The source of all AdSense income is the AdWords program which in turn has a complex pricing model based on a Vickrey second price auction, in that it commands an advertiser to submit a sealed bid (not observable by competitors). Additionally, for any given click received, advertisers only pay one bid increment above the second-highest bid.

Ways that Google detects Invalid clicks
We always hear that Google has a sophisticated system to detect the invalid clicks, and result in termination of the cheaters' account. But, how can Google do that? In this post, I summarize those ways that Google depends on to detect whether the clicks on your site are invalid or not. Google will not first ban your account immediately. Rather, they will first flag your account and Google will keep a closer eye to your account. In some occasion, they may send you a warning letter to notify your situation; but sometimes not.

What is Google Adsense
Google AdSense is a fast and easy way for website publishers of all sizes to display relevant Google ads on their website's content pages and earn money. Because the ads are related to what your visitors are looking for on your site — or matched to the characteristics and interests of the visitors your content attracts — you'll finally have a way to both monetize and enhance your content pages.
It's also a way for website publishers to provide Google web and site search to their visitors, and to earn money by displaying Google ads on the search results pages.
