How to increase Adsense CPC

  • Enable Image and Text Ads : Most of the bloggers do not like image ads.  But it is proved that image and multi media ads work well all the time.  So if you have text ads in your blogs, please change them immediately to text and image ads.  You can find the difference with in few weeks.   Google also recommends image and text ads.   Some of the advantages of image ads are given below.
    • Image ads are likely to be clicked ( High CTR)
    • Most of the advertisers like to show their products as images and multi media ads which brings quality ads and good CPC
    • If you allow image ads, most of the advertisers will target your ad slots directly.
  • Concentrate on Key Words :  Advertisers normally bid ( Pay) more money on particular keywords which pays you good CPC.  So it is a must to find out highly paid keywords for your blog topic and use them in your content so that you get good CPC.   Google Adsense robots scan the content of your blog before displaying any ads and Google will serve high quality ads once they find valuable keywords and useful content.  It does not mean that you have to write about only high paying keywords.  Getting search engine traffic for high paid keywords is very very difficult.  But keep in mind about high paid keywords while writing content in blogs.
  • Too many ads, Less CPC :  If you are using all the three adsense ad blocks, please check whether it is balancing each post content?  If your blog posts are long enough, then you can use all the three adsense ad blocks.  If your articles are too short and not having rich keywords, then Google will struggle to show relevant high paying ads for the visitors.  So you may get clicks but no earnings due to low paying non relevant ads.
